Payment and Refunds

Payment

Payment is taken via PayPal Invoice, ko-fi or V-gen, unless another form of payment has been discussed by both parties; such as an art tradeThe price can either be paid in full, or in payments. Payments will need to be fully completed before I start work of any kind

Refunds

-I accept a full refund BEFORE any work Is started
-if you need a refund before I've met the half way point, I will refund 50%, with a file of what I have finished sent to the client
-After the halfway mark is completed there will be no refunds.

Deadlines and delivery

-On average a commission will take 3 days- 3 weeks from when it's started, unless specified.
-If you have a deadline to meet, you must let me know
-Rush fees (+60%) will be applied to commissions that need to be completed in 1-7 days
-do not expect me to be able to finish a fully rendered product in one day, if you have a timeline, make sure I’ll have enough time to finish what you want
-please do not rush me, I will get your artwork to you when I can!

Revisions, WIPS and final product

Revisions

To minimize the amount of revisions that will need to be done, be as clear as you can in the beginning stage before I start the artwork. References, detailed descriptions will help with this. I will do small revisions for free throughout all stages. Big revisions such as expressions changes, background changes, outfit changes, will cost money after the Lineart stage. They will cost an additional 10-20 each, depending on what they are.

Work in Progresses

I will send you a wip image throughout all stages, and when I’m asked to. Please don’t be afraid to speak up about what you’d like changed, as this helps me make what you want!Please do not Spam me for updates, I have a Trello account You can check If I haven't gotten back to you right away!

Final product

After the drawing is completed, a high quality version without watermarks will be sent to the client.

Rights

As default, you may use artwork commissioned by me for personal use.

I reserve the rights to:

-Cancel a commission at any point in time throughout the process
-Post and or stream the art piece/process on social media, unless otherwise specified.
-Maintain all rights to the artwork
-Take as much time as I need to complete the artwork, within a reasonable timeframe. This is from the start of the piece, to when it’s finished. Not from when a piece is commissioned, as I do have a que of customers
-Make the piece free to use, and post it if you attempt to scam or steal from me

The Commissioner

-Maintains the rights to personal usage
-Can purchase the commercial usage fee at any point in time
-Cannot trace, edit, or copy the commission
-Cannot re-sell the commission
-Cannot make my artwork into an NFT
-Cannot use my artwork to Train Artificial intelligence

Cancellations

Please understand that cancellations can happen at any time

Possible Reasons and Outcomes

-Personal; This could be for a plethora of reasons. In this case a full refund will be sent with fees covered. If there was any progress made on the art piece, a high quality version will be sent to the client-Scam attempt: The client will Not be refunded, and wont be sent what progress was made. You will be blacklisted from my services.-No Communication: If the client does not respond within 30 days, Kit Has the right to stop all work, and cancel the commission without a refund. A version of the work will not be sent, and possibly repurposed.-Disrespectful communication: If the client has become extremely aggressive, or is making uncomfortable comments, Kit may choose to cancel. She may or may not refund and send what has been made depending on the case. There is also a possibility of getting blacklisted

Usage Rights

Default Personal usage

You can use a piece commissioned by me for profile pictures, banners, wallpapers, and headers. You can post the commission with credits (@KitKoiVixen across everything). You may print it, and do what you like with it, without having the intention to sell the print.

Commercial usage

After paying the commercial usage fee (+75%), you may use my artwork to freely promote yourself, to make merchandise, or other means of monetary gain.
